**DATE CHANGED TO FEB 25TH!!**  On Saturday,February 25th we need volunteers to supervise young adult's who are working off their punishment by doing community service. They will be removing dead trees and planting new ones. Meet at Hillcroft and Bankside at 9am to help with the activities.

Our fall White Elephant Sale is quickly approaching. We need lots of volunteers. Please sign up for one shift or more.
First shift  5am-8am: Set up from 5-6 and check in from 6-7. The sale opens at 8am.
Second shift 8am-11am: Work entrances and assist shoppers
Closing shift 11am to 1pm: Sale closes at noon so this is getting everyone moving out

Westbury needs volunteers to judge yard of the month. Help us acknowledge our neighbors who have created and maintain beautiful landscapes in their front yards. Call the WCC Office for more information, 713-723-5437.

The water level is so low in the basins that it is the perfect time to do a trash cleanup! Join us Saturday June 18th from 8 to 10 am...or Tuesday, June 21st from 6 to 8 pm. Meet at the South Clematis Circle off of Gasmer. Bring water and wear shoes!

If you have a few hours to spare on April 8th or 9th, we could use your help planting a few more trees around the community garden. On April 8th at 9am, we need help loading and unloading the trees into and out of the truck. On Saturday, April 9th, youth probationers, who are working off disciplinary actions from their schools, will be planting trees. We need volunteers from 9am-11:30am to show them how to plant the trees. Please contact Hazel Potvin at wccmaintenance@westburycrier.com for more information.

Volunteers are needed beginning at 5:30 am for set-up. We will also need volunteers around noon to help take everything down. During the sale, volunteers are needed at the information table and to answer general questions. On Saturday March 12th from 9am-12pm we will be planting trees along the street near the community garden. The community garden is located just west of Hillcroft at Dunlap and Greencraig (click here for map). Trees for Houston will be there and we hope you will be too. The holes will be augured, making it easier to get the trees in the ground. Contact Hazel Potvin at wccmaintenance@westburycrier.com to be part of the tree planting team.
