Southwest Positive Interaction Program (HPD) Feb. 28

The Positive Interaction Program is a monthly meeting held by HPD to discuss various crime related issues in Southwest Houston. This month Sergeant Melissa Holbrook will be the guest speaker.

Sergeant Melissa Holbrook is a twenty year veteran with the Houston Police Department and is assigned to the Special Crimes Division, Family Violence Unit, where she has worked for the last five and a half years.  She works as an investigator/liaison at the Family Criminal Law Division of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.  She conducts follow-up investigations of family violence crimes.  Sgt. Holbrook also trains Houston Police cadets, officers, and citizens on the subject of Family Violence and Stalking.  She currently serves as a board member of the Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council.
