Highlights include:

* COVID-19 pandemic information. Hospitalizations are increasing, so please take care of yourselves and each other by acting safely as best you can.

* BRIDGE CLOSURE: The Hillcroft Bridge at Brays Bayou has been temporarily closed by the Harris County Flood Control District starting on July 1; plan your trips accordingly and expect traffic delays.

* PUBLIC SAFETY – a Specialized Task Force from Precinct 5 Constables has been deployed in Westbury due to higher than usual Motor Vehicle Burglaries and damage

* VOTING info for the primary runoff elections - now in progress

* HURRICANE SEASON started on June 1. This edition explains how the Willow Waterhole Bayou overflow weirs work, plus there is information about the rainfall gage in Westbury, flood insurance, etc.

* Have you filled out your census information yet? It is important for Westbury, for Houston, and for Texas that you submit your info to the census. To start the questionnaire, you can use this link   https://my2020census.gov/

* Heavy Trash. July is an ODD Month, so it is a TREE WASTE Heavy Trash month. Your tree waste can be placed at the curb starting on the first weekend of July (this weekend!)
