 President    Becky Edmondson
Email Becky
Becky’s family moved to Houston one week before Hurricane Carla hit in 1961. She grew up in neighboring Maplewood and attended Parker, Johnston, Fondren and Westbury High School. She and her husband purchased their home in Parkwest in 1979 to be close to her parents and raise their children. She joined the civic club board as the Parkwest 2 Section Director in 2002 and served as Community Relations Director from 2005-2010.  After becoming a Texas Master Naturalist in 2004 she began to see Westbury in a whole new way and the Working on Westbury (WOW) campaign began.  In addition to being passionate about nature she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and baseball.
 Vice President
Marcia Hartman
Email Marcia
Marcia moved to Westbury from Friendswood in 1998 with her husband Jim Smith, because they were attracted to the convenience of living in the inner city after years in the suburbs.  In 2001 they merged their Bellaire-based insurance agency with an old Westbury agency, Bryan Calvin, and truly became “part of the neighborhood”.  Marcia has an MBA, and many years of experience working in accounting and insurance in and around the Houston area.  She is active in the Westbury Community Garden and Westbury Garden Club, and also volunteers her time at a downtown church.
 Secretary Mark Knoblauch
I am excited to begin my tenure as your Westbury Ci
vic Club Secretary. Westbury has been my family's home for the past five years, and throughout my time here I have come to learn the vast array of benefits Westbury has to offer. Though originally from Kansas, I have been
a Houston resident since 2005. I received my doctorate from our own University of Houston and
completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. I now work full-time at UH as a clinical assistant professor. My wife and I are the
parents to two incredible little girls as well as a
two year old BARC rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a morning or late afternoon jog through
the streets of Westbury, often with a loaded joggin
g stroller in hand.As your civic club's Secretary, a priority of mine is to continually work to improve our Westbury neighborhood. Improvements can come in many
forms, whether it be striving for a picturesque yard
reporting streetlight outages, or calling the constables regarding any suspicious activity. I am
passionate about neighborhood safety, and I persona
lly believe that when residents feel safe it strengthens the bond of the neighborhood. Lastly, I
encourage you to attend the monthly Westbury Civic
Club meetings. It's not only a great way to meet your fellow neighbors who are passionate about
Westbury, but it also allows your voice to be heard

Heath Campbell

My wife and I moved to Westbury six years ago, a newly married couple looking forward to creating a family in our first home.  We searched for our first home in a number of locations throughout the city, but were sold on Westbury's proximity to the city, the lush trees, and my wife (Mindy Campbell) is a tad bit partial to the neighborhood, as she is a Westbury High School graduate.

Within a year of owning our little house we added a new member to our family.  Andee Jo joined our little family in 2009, and two short years later Lucy Jaye was here as well.  We love calling Westbury our home, and are exciting about all the growth in the area.

I look forward to being a voice for my section, and helping our community continue to grow.
